Macedon Water Think Tank
Join the Macedon Water Think Tank
The Macedon Water Think Tank is a monthly meeting that allows people to come together and discuss waterways in the Maribyrnong catchment. The group is open to anyone interested in learning more about the Maribyrnong River and its catchment, and who wants to be part of a community-led effort to protect and enhance this critical natural resource. At each meeting, group members are invited to share their knowledge and experiences of the Maribyrnong River and its catchment. This might include sharing stories about favourite spots along the river, discussing the impacts of development and pollution on the river and its wildlife, or exploring how climate change affects the region. The group also hosts guest speakers from various backgrounds, including scientists, community activists, and indigenous leaders, who can provide valuable insights into the challenges facing the Maribyrnong River and its catchment, and share their ideas for how we can work together to overcome these challenges. No booking required.
